Job Description

Under the general supervision of the County Treasurer or their designee, the Deputy Treasurer performs a variety of clerical, administrative, and customer service functions related to property tax collection and related services. This position interacts regularly with the public and county departments, providing accurate information and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 Collects property tax payments and provides information regarding tax-related matters  Reviews real estate documents for accuracy and proper legal descriptions to certify deeds  Researches property tax histories as needed  Prepares and verifies transmittals from county departments  Issues dog licenses  Processes passport applications  Assists with daily reporting, banking, and reconciliation activities  Performs other related duties as assigned Osceola County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

$27,576.00 - $29,236.00 per year
