"Crossroads of America" interchange with a population of 43,590, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of full-time Account Technician with the Accounting Division of the Finance Department. The position is responsible for accounting activities which include accounts receivable, database management, and associated mandated reporting requirements. This position is responsible for invoicing for contracts, preparing daily bank deposit and related financial documents, reconciling income tax, utilities, and credit card deposits and posts to accounting system and maintaining the record retention program for the Finance Department. The selection process will include screening applicants for requisites and credentials and oral interview(s) on a date TBD to establish an eligibility list to fill an immediate opening. Prior to appointment, applicants must submit to an extensive background investigation, drug screen and physical.

Minimum Requirements:

Associate degree in accounting and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in accounts payable and auditing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience to provide sufficient evidence of the successful performance of the essential functions of the job. Previous work experience in an administrative municipal setting preferred. Salary Range is $46,342 to $67,558 DOQ.
