• May 17, 2026 Key Responsibilities The Office of Recovery Services is currently looking to fill a Collection Agent (Office Support) position within the Bureau of Medical Collections.

Key responsibilities and day to day responsibilities of this position: Answering and directing incoming phone calls Sort and identify incoming payments Scanning documents Data Entry Mail preparation Case initiation Qualifications Minimum or "day-one" qualifications: Basic computer skills Good verbal communication skills Familiarity with general office equipment Ability to organize tasks and follow instructions Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Preferred or trainable/on-the-job qualifications: Basic Excel knowledge Familiarity with general office equipment Experience working in an office setting. Experience answering phone calls and emails. Ability to work within a team and solve problems. Strong customer service and communication skills with an ability to assist people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact and professionalism

Preference:
