Collections Coordinator Law Firm | Houston, TX ? A respected professional services firm in downtown Houston is seeking an experienced Collections Coordinator to join their accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a professional environment, enjoys building relationships internally and externally, and can confidently partner with attorneys and leadership to manage aged receivables and collections activity. ?Location:
Downtown Houston ?Schedule:
4 days in office / 1 remote day ?What You'll Do:
? Manage aged AR and collections follow-up for client accounts ? Partner closely with attorneys to review aging reports and develop collection strategies ? Communicate professionally with clients regarding outstanding balances and payment arrangements ? Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account questions ? Prepare collection activity reports and support month-end AR processes ? Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up schedules within the accounting system ?What We're Looking For:
5+ years of accounting, AR, bookkeeping, or collections experience Prior law firm or professional services collections experience strongly preferred Strong communication skills with the confidence to work directly with attorneys and leadership Highly organized with strong attention to detail and professionalism Experience with legal billing/accounting systems preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software ?Outstanding Benefits Include:
