Class Definition Positions in this class perform audit and collections work related to Unemployment Insurance benefit claims and Unemployment Insurance tax employer delinquencies; review Unemployment Benefit & Tax systems, accounts, and records to ensure integrity and compliance. Environmental Factors Incumbents must be able to work in stressful and sometimes emotional situations and treat the public with sensitivity, fairness, and tact. Incumbents may encounter clients who are uncooperative or who may be hostile during interviews for which considerable human relations skills are required. Workload volume will be extremely high on occasion. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent AND three (3) years or more of experience performing fiscal auditing, accounting, quality assurance or collections work.
