Senior Tax Manager

Job DescriptionJob Description McDaniel & Associates, PC is seeking a motivated professional to serve as a full-time Senior Tax Accountant/Manager working with our team to provide accounting, tax preparation, and business consulting services.

Responsibilities Include:

Review of federal and multi-state tax returns for diverse entities including C-Corps, S-Corps, partnerships, and individuals Research complex tax issues, stay current with legislative changes, and manage IRS or state audits and correspondence Strengthen existing client relationships and identify new business opportunities to grow the firm's practice Provide tax planning and strategic advisory services Supervise, train, and mentor tax staff accountants

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA Preferred 5+ Years of Experience Proficient with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and tax software (CCH Axcess, Engagement) Strong attention to detail Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of employees and management
