  • Lead the tax function for a dynamic organization, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategic tax planning initiatives to optimize the company's tax position.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align tax strategies with organizational goals.
  • Oversee and manage a team of tax professionals, fostering growth and development.
  • Ensure accurate and timely tax filings, reporting, and disclosures across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Provide strategic guidance on tax implications for business transactions and entity formations.
  • Maintain compliance with telecom tax regulations and manage related filings.
  • Utilize technology and systems to enhance tax processes and achieve efficiencies. Key Responsibilities & Duties
  • Manage federal, state, and local tax compliance processes, including return submissions and cash management.
  • Supervise tax aspects of multi-entity structures and intercompany transactions.
  • Lead tax strategies for acquisitions, dispositions, and financing arrangements.
  • Advise on tax implications for new entities, products, and services.
  • Oversee quarterly and annual tax account reconciliations and provisions.
  • Support audits and manage external tax advisors for compliance and planning.
  • Implement process improvements in tax procedures and maintain fixed asset tax basis.
  • Research and communicate new tax developments to relevant stakeholders. Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation required.
  • CPA or Juris Doctor credential preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in tax roles.
  • Expertise in telecom or regulated network taxation highly preferred.
  • Strong technical tax knowledge and ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
  • Experience with Avalara and capital-intensive business taxation.
  • Proven leadership skills with ability to establish processes and controls.
  • Availability for periodic travel as needed.
