This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a highly successful organization with operations with one of the largest Dealer Groups across Florida. What You'll Do As Corporate Tax Manager, you will oversee tax compliance, support tax reporting, and contribute to strategic tax planning initiatives across a large multi-entity dealership group. You will work closely with accounting, finance, team members and executive leadership to ensure compliance while helping optimize the company's overall tax position.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage federal, state, and local tax compliance for multiple entities. Ensure timely and accurate preparation, review, and filing of tax returns. Monitor compliance with Florida tax regulations and other state tax requirements. Assist with tax provisions, tax reporting, and related financial reporting activities. Research and interpret tax laws, regulations, and emerging developments. Support tax planning strategies and business initiatives to improve tax efficiency. Coordinate with external tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory agencies. Assist with acquisitions, restructuring activities, and other strategic projects. Maintain strong internal controls and documentation supporting tax positions. Serve as a point of contact for tax-related inquiries across the organization Communicate tax matters clearly to non-tax stakeholders and leadership. Partner with accounting, finance, legal, and operational teams to support business objectives. Support evaluation and potential implementation of an operating company (OpCo) and property company (PropCo) structure. Assist with K-1 preparation and partner-related tax reporting requirements. Assist with intercompany transactions, including rent and shared services, and related documentation. Partner with dealership accounting teams to ensure proper tax treatment of transactions. Maintain tax calendars and ensure all deadlines are met. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting and/or corporate tax required. Strong knowledge of federal and state tax compliance. Experience working with complex, multi-entity organizations. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. CPA encouraged. Why Join Morgan Auto Group?
