This is an excellent fit for someone looking for high-level tax work and leadership responsibility without the excessive hours often associated with larger firms What You'll Be Responsible For Client Leadership Serve as a primary advisor to business owners and individual clients Build and maintain long-term client relationships Provide strategic tax planning and consulting recommendations Technical Tax Work Oversee complex returns including: Partnerships S-Corporations Corporations Individual and fiduciary returns Research and resolve advanced tax matters Review returns and deliverables prepared by staff and seniors Team & Firm Leadership Mentor and develop tax staff and seniors Assist with workflow management and project delegation Partner with firm leadership on operational and growth initiatives Help foster a collaborative, team-oriented culture Background the Firm Is Looking For CPA designation required 7+ years of public accounting tax experience Prior leadership or management experience within a CPA firm Strong technical knowledge across business and individual taxation Experience working directly with clients and managing engagements Ability to balance technical expertise with relationship management
