Job Description

Franklin & Vaughn, LLC is a full-service CPA firm providing accounting, auditing, business valuation, consulting and tax services. We are currently seeking a Tax Supervisor to join our team. This position is ideal for candidates with at least three years of public accounting experience who desire more challenging responsibilities in a strong working environment. The Tax Supervisor will have the opportunity to develop an integral leadership position within the firm and advance to Manager in an accelerated timeframe. The Tax Supervisor will achieve valuable results by utilizing leadership, organizational and analytical skills, and will think abstractly, work collaboratively and demonstrate outstanding communication skills. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Filing season - prepare and review income tax returns for individual, fiduciary, partnership and corporate tax clients. Non-filing season - perform income tax planning consultations and calculate scenario-based income tax projections for select clients. All year - further develop the firm's income tax practice as the firm's primary contact for tax research issues, tax correspondence matters, and tax law changes. Qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following: Professional discretion with confidential information Comfort as primary liaison with select clients Advanced technology and software skills Bachelor's degree in accountancy CPA designation or an active candidate Three years of related work experience Interested and qualified candidates are invited to submit a resume.
