Autodesk is seeking a Tax Manager to play a key role in our global income tax provision and reporting process. In this position, you will review and consolidate the interim and year-end income tax provisions under ASC 740, lead tax accounting for business combinations and strategic transactions, and manage for completeness non-recurring tax adjustments.

You will partner closely with global tax teams, Controllership, FP&A, and external auditors to ensure accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and consistent application of tax accounting policies across jurisdictions. Beyond execution, you will help drive continuous improvement•identifying process enhancements, strengthening documentation, and supporting automation initiatives that enable scalability as Autodesk continues to grow. This is a high-impact role within the global tax organization, offering the opportunity to deepen technical expertise while contributing to a culture of ownership, collaboration, belonging, and innovation.

ResponsibilitiesReview and consolidate the interim and year-end global income tax provision under ASC 740 (US GAAP)Evaluate and document technical tax accounting positions, including uncertain tax positions and valuation allowancesLead tax accounting for business combinations, including purchase accounting adjustments and opening balance sheet analysisManage consolidated discrete tax items, including stock-based compensation, restructuring, return-to-provision adjustments, audit settlements, and other non-recurring tax adjustmentsOversee effective tax rate (ETR) analysis and reconciliationPartner with regional tax teams to ensure consistent application of tax accounting policiesSupport provision-related process improvements, automation initiatives, and internal controls (SOX compliance)Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors related to income tax accountingContribute to provision project management, including timeline coordination and stakeholder communicationMinimum QualificationsBachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting or Law6+ years of relevant tax experience in public accounting and/or multinational corporate tax departmentStrong technical knowledge of ASC 740 and

Salary transparencySalary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S•based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $90,000 and $162,140. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $101,200 and $139,150. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
