Job Description

We're looking for a Revenue Tax Analyst Supervisor to join our Debt Recovery Division to supervise Revenue Tax Analyst in providing services to taxpayers via telephone and email in the department's call center! In this role, you will: Supervise Revenue Tax Analysts responsible for analyzing and resolving non-tax debt accounts submitted to the Office of Debt Recovery. Monitor and evaluate staff workload to ensure timely and accurate resolution of accounts in accordance with statutory and program requirements. Provide technical guidance and training to staff regarding Interpretation and application of Louisiana statutes, ODR policies, and agency-specific debt requirements. Review staff work to ensure account determinations, documentation, and case actions meet established quality standards. Conduct employee performance evaluations and provides ongoing coaching, mentoring, and corrective guidance when necessary. Review and evaluate complex account records, documentation, and system activity to ensure appropriate account status determinations and resolution actions.Position-Specific Details:

Probational, Promotional, Job Appointment, Detail to Special Duty or WAE. If hired as a WAE, incumbents may not work more than 1245 hours within a 12-month period.Compensation:
The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience. This posting may be used to fill vacancies in other divisions available within the Louisiana Department of Revenue within 90 days of the closing date. A Tax and Natural Disaster Clearance will be conducted on all selected applicants to validate the timely submission of tax returns and payments. It is a requirement that all Revenue employees must adhere to all tax laws of the State of Louisiana.LA R.S.15
