Tax Manager (Hybrid - Coastal Maine) Public Accounting | Growth Platform | Leadership Track A fast-growing, private equity-backed accounting platform is seeking a Tax Manager to join its expanding team in coastal Maine. Key Responsibilities Review complex tax returns across: Corporations (C-Corp, S-Corp), Partnerships, and Fiduciary entities Individual and high-net-worth clients Manage multi-state tax engagements Prepare tax projections and support strategic planning Conduct technical tax research Lead client communication and advisory efforts Mentor staff and oversee workflow execution Contribute to consulting and special projects What We're Looking For 7+ years of public accounting tax experience CPA or EA preferred Strong experience reviewing complex returns across entity types Client-facing mindset with an advisory orientation Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines Leadership or mentorship experience is a plus Technology Stack Microsoft Office Suite QuickBooks and trial balance software UltraTax / Practice CS (preferred) Ideal Candidate Profile Currently with a regional or national CPA firm Strong in both technical review and client advisory work Interested in stepping into a broader leadership role with growth upside Motivated by a firm that blends scale with a local-office culture About the Firm This organization is building a modern national accounting platform, combining operational scale with a commitment to client service, integrity, and collaboration. Pay Details:
