The Tax Supervisor bridges Tax Seniors and Tax Managers-leading engagements, reviewing returns, mentoring staff, and serving as a primary client contact.Responsibilities:
Supervise and review federal, multi-state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts Manage client relationships as a primary point of contact Resolve IRS and state tax notices; research complex tax matters Prepare and/or review estimated tax projections and vouchers Assist with year-end accrual entries, trial balances, and FBAR filings Apply financial statement analysis and general ledger expertise Handle sales tax and payroll tax matters Mentor and develop junior staff Support tax planning and research projectsRequirements :
4-7 years of recent public accounting experience with a tax focus Experience with high-net-worth individuals and small business compliance Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Strong communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills CPA or CPA-eligible preferred (not required) CCH Axcess experience preferred (not required)Compensation & Benefits:
