Tax Manager

Candidate will manage multiple operations of the tax practice to help shape our growing tax department. You must possess excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, and be a take charge leader. Responsibilities Review complex individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and estate tax returns Review books and prepare adjusting entries Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local income tax laws Handle IRS and States issues and notices Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities for our clients Research complex tax issues and provide guidance on tax implications of business decisions Identify process improvements and enhance internal controls Lead, mentor, and develop staff Manage workflow, deadlines, and project priorities Candidate must have a minimum of 8+ years of current working experience. CPA Preferred. Proficiency with Lacerte Tax Software and possession of an MS Degree in Taxation is preferred. Kindly submit your resume and references for consideration.
