Description Nick Corieri from Robert Half in Syracuse is working with a small CPA firm that is looking to hire their next Tax Manager. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage tax compliance, reporting, and filing processes to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations.
• Provide expert guidance on tax strategies and planning to optimize financial outcomes for clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of tax policies with accounting practices.
• Conduct thorough reviews of financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide informed recommendations.
• Mentor and support entry level staff in their career development, fostering growth within the team.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their tax-related inquiries and concerns.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax management.
• Active CPA license in good standing.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.

• Experience mentoring and developing entry level staff within a detail oriented setting.
