$110,000 - $135,000 About the Opportunity We are looking for a high-level Experienced Tax Manager to lead our most sophisticated tax engagements. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously while serving as a primary technical resource for our team. In this position, you won't just oversee compliance; you will act as a strategic consultant for our clients and a dedicated mentor for our staff. We value leaders who can navigate complex tax laws while fostering a collaborative, high-growth environment for the entire firm.
The Impact You Will Make Engagement Leadership:
Assume full responsibility for supervising large-scale assignments, including planning, budgeting, and monitoring performance against firm goals.
Technical Quality Control:
Review complex tax returns and financial statements with a focus on high-net-worth individuals and pass-through entities .
Team Development:
Provide hands-on training, guidance, and constructive feedback to staff at all levels to support their professional evolution.
Client Strategy:
Identify client needs and develop innovative tax planning strategies , keeping stakeholders informed of regulatory changes and business opportunities.
Operational Management:
Coordinate all phases of the engagement lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery within budget.
Business Development:
Actively build a professional network to assist with firm marketing initiatives and identify opportunities for new service lines. What You Bring to the
Team Experience:
Proven track record in public accounting with the ability to manage multi-disciplinary tax projects .
Education & Licensure:
Active CPA license is required. Candidates who hold or are pursuing a Master's in Taxation or a specific industry specialty designation are highly preferred.
Technical Mastery:
Deep knowledge of current tax laws and the ability to conduct high-level technical research to solve complex client issues.
Leadership Traits:
Exceptional communication skills and a "mentorship-first" approach to team management.
Project Management:
