Partner in 4 years. Not a vague succession plan. Not "future opportunities." Not waiting for several people above you to retire. One of the firm's existing Partners intends to step away within the next 4 years, creating a genuine opportunity for the right Tax Manager to step into leadership and eventually take a seat at the table. This isn't a role for someone chasing a slightly bigger title. It's for someone who still has ambitions in public accounting and wants to help lead a firm, not simply work within one. The Partners aren't looking for another reviewer. They're looking for someone they can trust. Someone who can take ownership of client relationships, mentor staff, become a technical resource to the team, and gradually step into greater leadership responsibilities. You'll work with complex individual, business, trust, and estate returns, along with sophisticated real estate clients and developers. You'll oversee engagements, advise clients, support staff, and become increasingly involved in the future direction of the practice.
