Job Description

We have everything you need for a dynamic career! We are actively seeking an experienced, client-focused Tax Manager, Generalist to join our growing practice in the Morganville, NJ office. This role follows a hybrid work schedule. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded tax generalist with strong technical knowledge across multiple tax return types and a proven ability to manage client engagements, review complex returns, and support team development.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and review a variety of tax engagements, with a primary focus on business returns and some individual returns. Review and oversee preparation of federal and state tax returns. Provide technical guidance on tax compliance, planning strategies, and industry best practices. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and timely communication. Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff and senior associates. Assist with tax research and provide recommendations to resolve complex tax issues. Facilitate workflow management, including planning, budgeting, and meeting engagement deadlines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's in Taxation preferred. CPA or EA certification preferred. 5+ years of public accounting experience. Strong technical tax knowledge across individual, corporate (C & S Corp), and partnership taxation. Demonstrated experience reviewing complex returns. Excellent organizational, supervisory, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
