Competitive Base Salary + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits (DOE) A well-established and highly respected regional public accounting firm is actively seeking a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to join its growing tax practice in the Cleveland market. This firm is known for its collaborative culture, strong leadership team, client-first approach, and commitment to employee growth and long-term career development. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced public accounting professional who enjoys both the technical side of tax work and the relationship-building aspect of serving clients. The ideal candidate will be heavily involved in client interaction, leadership within the tax department, mentoring staff, and helping support continued business growth initiatives. For the right individual, this opportunity offers a clear and accelerated path toward Partnership within the next couple of years. Key Responsibilities Review and manage complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-Corporations, and C-Corporations Provide tax planning, consulting, and advisory services to a diverse client base Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients Lead and mentor tax staff and seniors within the department Assist with workflow management, staff development, and departmental leadership initiatives Participate in business development efforts, networking, and client relationship expansion Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic growth initiatives and client service opportunities Stay current on federal, state, and local tax regulations and industry trends Qualifications CPA license required Prior experience within a public accounting/CPA firm environment required Experience reviewing and managing tax engagements Strong client communication and relationship management skills Leadership and mentoring experience preferred Business development mindset and desire to grow within the firm Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment What the Firm Offers Hybrid and flexible work environment Competitive compensation and bonus structure Comprehensive benefits package Supportive, team-oriented culture Strong leadership and mentorship Long-term career growth and advancement opportunities Short track to Partnership for the right candidate Opportunity to make a visible impact within a growing tax practice This position is ideal for a motivated tax professional looking to step into a leadership-oriented role with strong client exposure, growth potential, and a firm that values both professional success and work-life balance.
