California , Sacramento Job Description As a Tax Senior at this experienced firm, you'll play a pivotal role in managing our clients' tax-related issues. Your responsibilities will include offering expert tax advice, ensuring adherence to tax regulations, and helping clients achieve their financial objectives. We seek a seasoned and committed Tax Senior with a solid foundation in tax law, accounting, and exceptional client service skills. Although this firm is based in Sacramento, we are open to considering candidates from anywhere, with a fully remote option available!Key Responsibilities:
Review and manage tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax laws. Provide strategic tax planning and consulting to clients. Research and interpret complex tax regulations. Establish and maintain strong client relationships. Assist in resolving tax-related issues Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations. Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive financial solutions.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in tax preparation and review. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team of tax professionals. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Dedication to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards. Preferences (not required): Master's degree or working towards a Master's degree Experience working with a firm size of 100-500 Heavy corporate accounting experienceBenefits:
