The Innovative CPA Group is an employee-centric firm comprised of experienced tax and accounting professionals. We leverage the latest technology to streamline our workflow, thereby improving the service to our clients.
Overview:
We are seeking a Tax Supervisor to lead tax engagements, review staff work, and support managers and partners in delivering high-quality client service. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Essential Responsibilities:
Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns Utilize accounting software, including QuickBooks, to review and manage client financial data; prepare and post journal entries, ensure accuracy of general ledger activity, and support the overall tax compliance and reporting process Ensure compliance with tax laws and firm standards Supervise, mentor, and review the work of associates Manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines Communicate directly with clients and manage expectations Assist with tax planning strategies and research
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's a plus) 3+ years of tax experience Experience with CCH programs is a plus Strong knowledge of tax regulations and proficiency in Excel and tax software Excellent communication and organizational skills
