Job Description
Tax Supervisor |
As a Tax Supervisor, you will be a proven project leader and an integral member of our tax practice. Your role is critical not just in tax compliance, but in teaming with our other service lines-including philanthropy, estate planning, risk management, and insurance-to provide a truly holistic family office experience.
The Impact You Will MakeProvide high-level tax compliance and consulting services tailored to individuals, trusts, and non-profit entities.
Actively manage, coach, and mentor a talented team of tax interns, associates, and seniors to foster their professional growth.
Execute complex tax research projects to solve unique wealth challenges and draft technical responses to federal, state, and local tax notices.
Collaborate across departments to ensure tax strategies align with the client's broader goals in estate planning and philanthropy.
Exemplify a collaborative working style, maintaining strong relationships with all firm members and stakeholders.
What You Bring to the Team5+ years of full-time tax compliance experience, specifically focusing on partnerships, trusts, individuals, and not-for-profit organizations.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; a Master's in Taxation is highly preferred.
Active CPA license (or currently in progress) or Enrolled Agent (EA) status.
Proficiency in advanced tax software, including CCH Axcess Tax, BNA Income Tax Planner, and Checkpoint RIA.Strong problem-solving abilities with an obsession for detail and organizational excellence.
