A CPA with at least ten years of public accounting experience and strong leadership and technical review skills.
What:
Leads tax engagements, performs final technical reviews, manages staff and workflow, and ensures compliance with evolving tax laws and accounting standards.

Position Overview:
The Senior Tax Manager oversees complex tax engagements, ensures technical accuracy and quality, develops and leads staff, manages client relationships, and supports business growth while maintaining high professional and confidentiality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide final technical review of tax returns and related documents.
  • Research complex tax issues and develop sound recommendations and solutions.
  • Stay current on tax law changes and emerging accounting procedures.
  • Plan, schedule, and manage client engagements to ensure timely completion.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to support their goals and ensure their best interests.
  • Direct and support staff and supervisors by setting objectives, managing budgets, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Oversee quality control and monitor team performance.
  • Assign, track, and manage tasks and projects delegated to staff.
  • Mentor and develop staff and supervisors to support ongoing growth.
  • Build and maintain internal and external networks to help drive new business opportunities.
  • Manage billing, collections, WIP, aging, and write-downs.
  • Participate in and help facilitate internal CPE and training programs.
Qualifications:
  • CPA certification required.
  • Minimum of ten years of public accounting experience.
  • Strong leadership abilities with proven staff development experience.
  • Excellent decision-making skills with initiative.
  • Ability to stay calm and productive under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a heavy workload effectively.
