$55,000-$110,000 DOE Position Overview This Tax Preparer role supports a growing CPA firm with a strong reputation and long‑tenured team. The position is hands‑on and focused on preparing accurate tax returns while supporting a diverse client base. This opportunity is driven by new client growth , creating long‑term stability and consistent workload. Core Responsibilities Prepare individual and business tax returns Review financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness Support tax compliance and filing requirements Assist with year‑end processes and deadlines Work directly with clients to gather information and answer questions Maintain accurate and organized documentation Collaborate with internal accounting team on client matters Required Qualifications Experience preparing tax returns Background in a CPA firm or client service environment preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage deadlines, especially during tax season Proficiency with tax software and accounting systems Strong communication skills and comfort working with clients Preferred Background Experience with multiple clients or entities Exposure to both individual and business returns Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems Culture & Work Environment Established firm with 20+ years in business Highly tenured team with strong retention Professional, supportive, and collaborative culture Standard 40‑hour workweeks outside of tax season Busy tax season, but lighter and respected off‑season schedules Strong overall work‑life balance Benefits Snapshot 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid Time Off and holidays All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
