Job Description
Established CPA firm in Carmel, California is seeking an experienced accounting and tax professional for a part-time position, with full-time hours available during tax season (February through April 15). Responsibilities Prepare individual, partnership, LLC, and corporate income tax returns Assist with tax planning and compliance Communicate professionally with clients and staff Meet deadlines in a fast-paced tax environment Qualifications EA or CPA license preferred Minimum 5 years of tax preparation experience Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations Ability to understand and analyze financial statements Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and QuickBooks Experience with Lacerte Tax Software preferred, but not required Ability to work independently and perform well under pressure Position Details Part-time year-round Full-time schedule available during tax season (February-April 15) Expected hours: 20-40 hours per week
