Duties Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, small businesses, and corporations with precision and efficiency Gather and analyze financial documents such as income statements, expense reports, and bank statements to ensure accurate reporting Review client information for completeness and compliance with current tax laws and regulations Utilize accounting software like QuickBooks, Sage, or other financial tools to organize data and streamline the filing process Provide guidance on tax deductions, credits, and planning strategies to optimize client refunds Maintain detailed records of all filings, correspondence, and client interactions for future reference Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and accounting standards to ensure ongoing compliance Skills Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax concepts, and public accounting practices Proficiency in financial software including QuickBooks, Sage, and other accounting or tax preparation tools Excellent analysis skills to interpret complex financial data accurately Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping, corporate accounting, or related financial roles Effective customer service skills to communicate clearly and professionally with clients Knowledge of marketing techniques to promote services and attract new clients High typing speed (10 key typing) for efficient data entry and documentation Ability to apply technical accounting skills in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with financial sales strategies to identify opportunities for client growth or additional services Embark on a rewarding career path where your expertise in finance can truly shine!
