Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in preparing individual and business tax returns, strong attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent client service.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review individual (1040) and business tax returns (1120, 1120-S, 1065). Gather, analyze, and organize client financial data. Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and state tax laws. Communicate with clients regarding tax documents, filing status, and deadlines. Assist with tax planning and identify potential tax-saving opportunities. Work closely with the office team to support client needs.

Qualifications:

Prior experience as a tax preparer (2+ years preferred). Knowledge of federal and state tax laws. Familiarity with tax software Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
