Junior Accountant (Part-Time) - Tax Preparation & QuickBooks Support

Overview:

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to support our growing accounting team. This role is ideal for a student or early-career professional seeking hands-on, real-world accounting experience . You will work directly with senior staff on client accounts and gain exposure to bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with QuickBooks data entry and account maintenance Support preparation of financial statements Help organize and clean up client financial data Assist with reconciliations (bank, credit card, etc.) Support tax preparation and documentation Use internal systems such as Financial Cents (task management)

Qualifications:

0-2 years of accounting experience or relevant coursework Basic understanding of accounting principles Exposure to financial statements (school or work) Strong attention to detail Organized and reliable Willingness to learn and take direction

Preferred:

Familiarity with QuickBooks Experience with preparing tax returns Accounting or finance student (undergraduate or graduate)
