Tax Preparer

Small accounting firm seeking an experienced Tax Preparer to handle corporate and individual tax returns from start to finish. This role requires strong technical skills, client communication, and the ability to independently manage the full tax preparation process. Hybrid preferred, remote may be considered.

Responsibilities:

Prepare corporate and individual tax returns Gather and organize client tax documents Communicate with clients to obtain missing information Complete and review returns accurately and efficiently Walk clients through completed returns and finalize filings Ensure compliance with tax regulations

Requirements:

Extensive experience preparing both corporate and personal tax returns Proficiency with UltraTax CS (preferred) Experience with Accounting CS (preferred) Strong client communication skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities Ability to manage multiple returns and meet deadlines Self-motivated and able to work independently
