We are looking for a self-motivated team player with tax preparation and accounting experience. The qualities we are looking for include: Proficient in QuickBooks and Excel. Ability to learn other software programs. Ability to complete and understand basic bookkeeping and the preparation of tax returns. At least some experience in these areas is required. General understanding of accounting. A good listener and writer. Someone who can listen to instruction, follow orders, and document procedures for future reference. Ability to multi-task and solve problems. Accuracy and attention to detail is a must. Ability to build relationships with clients. Strong communication skills and time management skills. Ability to take control and work on their own, but not afraid to ask for clarification or assistance if needed. (Someone who is independent, but not to a fault.) College degree is preferable, but not mandatory. Aspirations to become a CPA would be ideal. Duties performed would include, but not limited to: Preparation of Payroll Reports Preparation of Financial Statements Personal and Business Tax Return preparation of various complexities Other Accounting and Tax Duties as
