Job Description
Job Summary Join our banking team as a Bank Teller, where you will be the friendly face and trusted advisor for our valued customers. In this role, you will handle daily financial transactions, provide exceptional customer service, and promote our banking products and services. Your proactive approach will help foster strong customer relationships, ensure accurate cash handling, and contribute to the overall success of our bank. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering top-tier customer service in a banking environment. Duties Perform accurate cash handling, including processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, and balancing cash drawers daily Assist customers with account inquiries, account openings, and updates to their banking information Promote and upsell banking products such as loans, credit cards, savings accounts, and other financial services to meet customer needs Detect and prevent potential fraud by monitoring transactions and verifying customer identities Process loan applications and assist with loan origination procedures in accordance with bank policies Manage customer relationships by providing personalized service and addressing their financial concerns promptly Maintain compliance with banking regulations and internal policies through diligent recordkeeping and transaction documentation Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to build lasting relationships Proficiency in basic math, retail math, and cash management techniques including debits & credits Experience in financial sales, upselling, and cross-selling banking products effectively Knowledge of financial software systems used for transaction processing and recordkeeping Familiarity with fraud prevention and detection practices within banking operations Excellent communication skills to clearly explain banking options and procedures to customers We seek an energetic individual who is eager to make a positive impact on our customers' financial journeys while developing valuable skills in retail banking.
