Join Our Team as a Teller! Are you passionate about customer service and financial services? We are seeking a dependable and member-focused Teller to join our dynamic team. As the "frontline" of our credit union, you will be at the heart of our operations, interacting with our valued members and ensuring their banking needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. As a Teller, you will handle a variety of banking transactions while building lasting relationships with our members. Key Responsibilities Efficiently and accurately process daily transactions, including cashing checks, accepting deposits and loan payments, and processing withdrawals, in line with established guidelines. Identify members' financial needs and proactively introduce suitable products and services, such as checking accounts, credit cards and more. Foster trust-based relationships by going above and beyond to provide exceptional member service and increase member loyalty. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies to protect the organization and our members. Vigilantly manage risk in each transaction, identifying and preventing fraudulent activity. Address and resolve member inquiries and issues with professionalism, providing clear and relevant information to enhance the member experience. Skills and Qualifications Previous experience in banking, credit unions, retail banking, or financial services is preferred. Solid experience in cash handling and customer service. Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse range of clients. Detail-oriented with excellent mathematical skills and the ability to accurately process financial transactions. Basic proficiency with PC systems and electronic banking equipment (e.g., cash drawers, receipt validators, money counters). Strong time management skills, with the ability to perform tasks efficiently under time constraints. Why Work With Us?
