Teller Supervisor

Job Summary Supervises and coaches the teller staff to ensure quality customer service and effective branch operations in conformance with established Bank strategies, policies and procedures. The individual with this position in our company will be expected, on a regular basis, to perform any functions necessary, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers: Oversees the daily activities of the teller team. Assists in the coaching and development of tellers. Assists managers in conducting performance reviews for tellers. Assists Branch Manager with customer resolution Contributes to the fulfillment of branch and company goals and objectives, looks for efficiency opportunities. Performs necessary security routines and audits and analyzes teller reports. Orders, verifies receipt, stores and distributes branch cash. Oversees the daily balancing of the branch, including ATMs. Maintains updated knowledge of Banks products and services and follows up on cross sales opportunities and referrals. Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines and bank policies and procedures. Provides exceptional service to meet customers and prospective customer's banking needs Ability to stand and sit for long periods, bending and lifting up to 25 pounds is required. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Ability to operate bank software programs and standard office equipment and proficient typing skills Strong Knowledge of financial institutions products and services Interpersonal skills necessary to relate to and empathize with others Characteristics including honesty, integrity, and professionalism Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Ability to maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor throughout the workday Ability to multi-task in a high traffic area of customer interaction and maintain a positive attitude at all times Participate in on-going training as required Be a

Team Player Minimum Qualifications Education:

High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma is required.

Experience:

A minimum of two (2) years of teller experience is required . Teller Supervisor experience preferred. Work Authorization Must be authorized to work in the United States. No security clearance needed. Candidate will need to pass a drug test, credit history check, and criminal background check. Prior convictions could be considered if the candidate can show that they are not relevant to performance in this role.
