Job Description
Job Overview The Teller/CSR provides a variety of customer service functions, such as processing and opening savings accounts, checking accounts, CDs, and loan payments. Is responsible for providing a high quality of customer service, cross-selling bank services, and balancing each day's transactions and verifying cash totals. Must be willing to work Saturdays. Will float to other locations as needed. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent is required. Customer service experience and banking experience is preferred. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills to greet customers and visitors, providing information and other assistance and positively representing the bank. Strong organizational skills and ability to count money accurately required. Proficient use of such standard office equipment as computer, keyboard, adding machine, photocopier, scanner is required. Basic working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel is necessary. Accurate keyboarding and data entry skills required. Additional Information While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, and walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; see, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch; lift and/or move office products, supplies, or coin trays/bags or other currency up to 40 pounds. The base pay will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, and skill level required for the position.
