Job Description
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Teller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions promptly and accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Promote and cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, discrepancies, and problem resolution.
- Ensure compliance with all bank policies and procedures.
- Maintain a neat and organized work area.
- Identify and report suspicious activity to prevent fraud.
Qualifications:
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic math calculations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in sales or upselling is a plus.
- Knowledge of loan origination processes is beneficial.
- Familiarity with cash management practices.
- Ability to operate a cash register efficiently.
- Strong relationship management skills.
