About the
Role:
As a Teller, you will play a crucial role in the banking industry by providing exceptional customer service and facilitating financial transactions. Your primary responsibility will be to handle deposits, withdrawals, and other banking services while ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. You will also be tasked with identifying customer needs and promoting relevant banking products and services. This position requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage cash effectively, as you will be responsible for balancing your cash drawer at the end of each shift. Ultimately, your contributions will help foster customer trust and satisfaction, which are vital for the success of our banking operations.Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a banking or financial services environment. Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree in finance, business, or a related field. Experience with banking software and technology. Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse customer base.Responsibilities:
Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately and efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to accounts and services. Promote bank products and services to customers, identifying opportunities to enhance their banking experience. Maintain compliance with banking regulations and internal policies to ensure the security of customer information and funds. Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies to management.Skills:
