Position Summary A Teller plays a key role in building trusted relationships with our members by providing outstanding service, accurate transactions, and personalized financial solutions. This position requires attention to detail, a passion for helping others, and a strong ability to work collaboratively. The Teller will assist members with a full range of banking services, contribute to team goals, and support branch operations. What Makes an Ideal Candidate Positive, team-oriented mindset with a desire to deliver phenomenal member experiences Strong communication skills and a service-driven attitude Proven ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions Self-motivated and eager to grow within a member-focused organization Minimum of two years of teller or banking experience Key Responsibilities Demonstrate KTCCU's core values and maintain a positive, member-focused attitude in all interactions Greet members warmly and professionally, ensuring each interaction reflects a commitment to exceptional service Open new accounts accurately and efficiently, including checking, savings, IRAs, and HSAs Actively listen to members to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate products and services Maintain a strong working knowledge of account services and consumer banking products to assist members effectively Investigate and resolve account discrepancies and inquiries in a timely and thorough manner Accurately process wire transfers, ACH requests, and other electronic services Monitor account activity to identify potential fraud or unusual transactions and take appropriate action Educate members on credit union products and services to support their financial goals and strengthen member relationships Ensure compliance with operational policies and regulatory procedures during all member interactions Collaborate with team members and other departments to support smooth branch operations and member satisfaction Regulatory Compliance & Confidentiality This position is responsible for complying with all applicable regulatory requirements, including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Identity Theft Red Flags Rule Strict confidentiality must be maintained regarding member and credit union information.
