Duties:
Tellers are the most visible representative (the "front-line") of the financial institution and thus the impression they make with customers is an important quality for developing and maintaining account relationships. As a Teller Supervisor , you will assist and act as a direct supervisor to employees on the teller line. You will complete transactions as needed, uncover financial needs, recommend products and services to help customers meet their goals, and refer them to team members at the bank when appropriate. While providing continuous supervision and coaching, you will ensure compliance with our policies, procedures, security requirements as well as government regulations is met.
Skills/Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Professional certificate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business is preferred. Exceptional interpersonal and computer skills Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Experience in personal organizational efficiency and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while leading others. Solid knowledge and history of supervisorial functions, with at least 6 months' experience leading others. Personal, reliable and available to work occasionally on Saturday mornings (with a comp day off). Minimum of 3 years in a customer facing banking or credit union role is required, with at least 1 year of teller experience.
