• About the Role
• We are seeking a
• customer-focused Floating Teller
• to support a high-volume retail banking environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys helping people, and has strong attention to detail when handling cash transactions. As a Floating Teller, you will primarily focus on
• cash handling and front-line member service
• , while also supporting nearby branches as needed.
• Key Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional
• face-to-face customer service
• to members and prospective members
• Accurately process
• cash transactions
• , including deposits, withdrawals, and payments
• Assist customers with
• account-related inquiries and basic banking services
• Maintain accuracy and compliance while handling sensitive financial information
• Balance cash drawer and ensure proper documentation of transactions
• Promote and explain available financial products and services when appropriate
• Support multiple branch locations within the local area (Gaithersburg, Germantown, Rockville)
• Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced retail branch environment
• Required Qualifications
• 1+ year of
• customer-facing experience
• (retail, banking, hospitality, or similar)
• Experience handling
• cash transactions
• with accuracy and accountability
• Strong
• customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay focused and organized in a high-volume environment
• Basic administrative and data entry skills
• Comfortable working with financial transactions and sensitive information
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a consistent schedule
• Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience as a
• bank teller or in financial services
• Experience working in a retail or sales-driven environment
• Familiarity with banking products (checking, savings, credit cards, etc.)
• Experience using Microsoft Office or similar systems
