Responsibilities Process a variety of banking transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, cash handling, debits & credits, and loan payments. Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients warmly, listening attentively, and addressing their financial needs with professionalism. Identify opportunities to upsell banking products such as checking, savings, treasury management, etc. Manage customer relationships through effective relationship management techniques, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and loyalty. Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring transactions for suspicious activity and adhering to security protocols. Maintain accurate cash management records and perform cashiering duties with precision using basic math skills and financial software tools. Have an in-depth understanding of electronic banking products. Open and maintain IRA and HSA products for new and existing customers Maintain adequate knowledge of commercial products to perform the sale of commercial products and services Qualifications Proven experience in financial sales, customer relationship management, or retail banking is preferred. Strong cash handling skills with knowledge of debits & credits, cashiering procedures, and retail math. Familiarity with financial services products. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately using 10 key typing or similar tools. Knowledge of fraud prevention techniques and banking security protocols is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in banking or finance are advantageous. $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
