Job Summary Join our dynamic banking team as a Bank Teller, where your energetic approach and commitment to exceptional customer service will drive positive experiences for our clients. In this vital role, you will handle daily financial transactions, promote banking products, and foster strong customer relationships. Duties Process a variety of banking transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, cash handling, debits & credits, and loan payments. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive banking experience. Promote bank products and services through upselling and cross-selling opportunities such as savings accounts, loans, and credit cards. Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring suspicious activity and adhering to security protocols. Manage cash flow efficiently through cash management procedures, balancing cash drawers, and maintaining accurate records. Build lasting relationships with clients by understanding their financial needs and offering tailored solutions to enhance their banking experience. Experience Previous experience in retail banking or financial services is preferred but not required; strong customer service skills are essential. Familiarity with banking software systems and basic math skills for handling cash transactions confidently. Knowledge of financial sales techniques, relationship management strategies, and upselling methods. Understanding of fraud prevention measures and the importance of security in banking operations. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with diverse customers and team members.
