Part-time Teller Job Description Job Summary Patriot Credit Union is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Teller to join our team. We are seeking someone with basic computer and bookkeeping skills to handle teller duties, loan filings, and other clerical duties. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while handling a variety of financial transactions. This role is essential in maintaining the credit union's reputation for reliability and professionalism, ensuring that our members receive accurate and timely service. Duties Process member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with precision. Assist members, both in-person and over the phone, with inquiries regarding their accounts and provide information on financial services offered by the credit union. Maintain a balanced cash drawer and perform regular cash management tasks. Maintain accurate loan records by printing and filing applications, running applicant's credit bureau reports, and filing liens and deeds in a timely manner. Maintain compliance with all banking regulations and internal policies. Collaborate with team members to enhance customer experience and promptly resolve issues. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships. Proficiency in basic math to ensure accurate transaction processing. Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel Experience with social media (Facebook, LinkedIn) a plus. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Prior teller, banking, or customer service experience is a plus.
