Overview Join our dynamic team as a Bank Teller/Customer Service Representative and become the friendly face of our financial institution! Duties Provide outstanding customer service by greeting clients warmly, answering inquiries, and guiding them through banking processes Accurately process cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing, ensuring proper cash management and balancing at the end of each shift Assist customers with account services such as opening new accounts, updating personal information, and managing debit and credit card issues Promote and upsell banking products like loans, savings accounts, or investment options to meet customer needs and support branch growth Detect and prevent potential fraud by monitoring suspicious activity during transactions and following established security protocols Support loan origination and processing activities by collecting necessary documentation and coordinating with loan officers when applicable Maintain detailed records of all transactions, adhere to compliance standards, and ensure confidentiality of customer information Requirements Proven experience in customer service or retail sales within a banking or financial services environment preferred Strong cash handling skills with proficiency in basic math, retail math, and 10-key typing for accurate transaction processing Knowledge of banking operations including debits & credits, cash management, cashiering procedures, and financial software systems Excellent communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships through relationship management techniques Ability to identify opportunities for upselling financial products while maintaining compliance with fraud prevention policies High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in financial services is a plus Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join us in delivering exceptional service that empowers our customers' financial journeys!
