Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Lead Teller to join our team. The Teller will be responsible for providing exceptional member service, processing transactions accurately, and promoting credit union products to enhance the overall member experience.Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments
- Responsible for auditing daily deposits and overseeing all vault operations, including cash ordering, balancing, and secure cash management.
- Provide excellent member service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Maintain proper cash levels in the drawer and balance cash transactions accurately
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell credit union products and services to customers
- Ensure compliance with credit union policies and procedures
- Assist members with account inquiries and problem resolution
- Collaborate with team members to achieve credit union goals and targets
Experience:
- Previous Teller Experience is required.
- Previous experience in cash handling and basic math skills.
- Strong understanding of retail math principles.
- Knowledge of fraud prevention detection techniques.
- Experience in relationship management and customer relationship management
- Proficiency in sales techniques for upselling products
