Raleigh Location - Oppy for Cross-Training & Growth Our client is seeking a professional, personable candidate with prior banking experience to join our team. This role will begin with core teller responsibilities and offers the opportunity to cross-train into a Member Services Representative position. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to promote products and services in a member-focused environment.

ASAP Position Overview Client is seeking an experienced Teller with strong customer service skills and solid banking knowledge. This role will focus on core teller duties with the opportunity to cross-train into a Member Services Representative position. Ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable promoting financial products and services. Key Responsibilities Process daily teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing Determine appropriate check holds and verify account balances Handle loan payments, Visa payments, and line-of-credit advances Verify member identity and ensure accuracy of all transactions Cross-sell credit union products, services, and loans Cross-train in Member Services functions: Open and maintain accounts Accept loan applications Assist members with account questions and issue resolution Answer inbound calls in a phone queue Provide excellent customer service in person, via phone, and through email Requirements Minimum 1 year of teller experience in a retail banking environment (REQUIRED) Strong understanding of banking procedures and transactions Credit union experience (preferred) Account opening experience (preferred) Strong sales aptitude or willingness to cross-sell products/services Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Professional, team-oriented attitude Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems High school diploma or equivalent required Top Skills / Must-Haves (Hot Buttons) Recent teller experience Banking knowledge (non-negotiable) Customer service + personality fit Comfort with cross-selling Reliability and attention to detail Ideal Candidate Profile Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor Comfortable working in a fast-paced, member-facing environment Eager to learn and grow into a Member Services role Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
