Teller / Customer Service

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Teller / Customer Service representative, where you will be the friendly face and trusted advisor for our valued clients. Duties Process a variety of banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, debits & credits, and cash management with precision and efficiency Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting clients warmly, answering inquiries, and resolving issues promptly Promote financial products and services through upselling and cross-selling to meet client needs and enhance their banking experience Conduct loan origination activities such as processing loan applications and supporting the loan approval process Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring transactions for suspicious activity and adhering to security protocols Manage cash handling duties accurately using basic math skills and 10 key typing to balance cash drawers at shift end Maintain comprehensive records of all transactions, customer interactions, and compliance documentation Requirements Proven experience in retail math, cashiering, or financial services is preferred but not required; strong basic math skills are essential Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and manage relationships effectively Knowledge of banking operations including cash handling, debits & credits, and cash management procedures Familiarity with financial software systems used for transaction processing and record keeping Ability to perform detailed tasks such as loan processing, fraud detection, and relationship management with accuracy Strong communication skills to clearly explain products, answer questions, and provide guidance on banking services High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in financial sales or customer relationship management is a plus Embark on a rewarding career where your proactive approach and dedication can make a real difference.
