To provide exceptional customer service while accurately and efficiently processing financial transactions for customers. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong customer relationships, adhering to bank procedures, and contributing to a positive branch environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Process various banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, and money orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to bank policies and procedures. Provide exceptional customer service to customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and building rapport to foster long-term relationships. Maintain a thorough understanding of bank products and services to effectively assist customers and identify cross-selling opportunities. Adhere to all bank security and compliance regulations, including proper cash handling procedures and identification verification. Balance cash drawer daily and investigate discrepancies, reporting any irregularities to the supervisor. Prepare and process necessary documentation for customer transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Maintain a professional and organized work environment, contributing to a positive branch atmosphere for both customers and colleagues. Assist with other branch operations as needed, including opening and closing procedures and general administrative tasks. Stay informed about changes in bank policies, procedures, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and provide accurate information to customers. Proactively identify and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel. Buy and sell currency and coin to the Federal Reserve. Run loose coin for customers Responsible for cleaning/maintaining coin machines. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
