Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Member Service Specialist, where your enthusiasm and dedication will drive exceptional customer experiences and foster lasting relationships. In this role, you will serve as the frontline ambassador for our financial services, providing personalized support to members while promoting our diverse range of banking products. Your proactive approach will help members achieve their financial goals, ensuring smooth transactions and insightful guidance every step of the way. This position offers a vibrant environment where your sales skills and customer service expertise can truly shine. Duties Greet members warmly and assist with their banking needs, including account inquiries, deposits, withdrawals, and cash handling with accuracy and professionalism Promote and upsell financial products such as loans, credit cards, savings accounts, and other financial services to meet members' individual needs Process loan applications, perform loan origination tasks, and manage loan processing procedures efficiently Maintain strong customer relationships through personalized service, active listening, and effective relationship management strategies Detect and prevent potential fraud by monitoring transactions, verifying member identities, and adhering to security protocols Utilize financial software systems to record transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations, and ensure data integrity Handle cash management duties including debits & credits, balancing cash drawers, and performing 10 key typing with precision Experience Proven experience in financial sales or customer relationship management within banking or retail environments Strong understanding of banking operations such as cash handling, cashiering, and retail math principles Familiarity with fraud prevention techniques and detection methods in financial services Ability to process loans from application through approval efficiently while maintaining compliance standards Excellent communication skills to build rapport with members and identify opportunities for upselling additional products or services Basic math skills necessary for accurate cash handling, balancing accounts, and performing calculations involving debits & credits Experience using financial software platforms and proficiency in 10 key typing for data entry tasks Join us to make a meaningful difference in our members' financial journeys!
