Floating Bank Teller
  • 1st Shift $17.
00/hr. | Columbia Area (Downtown, Richland Medical District & Parkridge Locations) Weekly Pay | Full-Time Provenance Recruitment and Staffing is currently recruiting for a Bank Teller to support the branch operations team of a financial institution in Columbia, SC area. This is a customer-facing role responsible for assisting members with financial transactions while delivering professional and friendly service in a fast-paced banking environment. Must be able to work at 3 locations in the Columbia area

  • Richland Medical Area
Parkridge Area Job Summary:
This position is responsible for processing member financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers while maintaining compliance with all company policies and financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, cash-handling experience, and the ability to maintain accuracy in a detail-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process member financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments
  • Assist members with routine account questions and direct them to appropriate departments when needed
  • Maintain accurate member account records and transaction postings
  • Balance cash drawer daily in accordance with balancing standards
  • Promote and cross-sell financial products and services when appropriate
  • Provide friendly, professional, and timely customer service to all members
  • Answer phones and assist with general administrative duties including filing, data entry, and document processing
  • Troubleshoot and resolve member inquiries in an accurate and professional manner
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
  • Follow all company procedures, banking regulations, and security protocols at all times
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous teller, cash-handling, retail, or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer and data entry skills required
  • Experience using a ten-key calculator preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in financial transactions
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality required
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds as needed
  • Ability to work professionally with members and team personnel in a fast-paced office environment
Pay:
$17.00 per hour
